Analyzing Programs and Services with an Inclusive Lens

In this practical, hands-on session participants practice using an Inclusion Lens to analyze their current and future programs and services, and identify the following:

  • Who are specific programs and services intended to support and serve?
  • By group membership, whose needs and issues are considered and addressed?
  • Unintentionally, have some groups been over-looked in the planning process?
  • What can be modified and changed to better meet the needs and issues of members of these groups?

Participants will leave with tools and approaches to integrate an Inclusion Lens into all planning and decision-making processes to ensure the needs of the full range of those to be served are considered and addressed.
